Rockville

Rockville is located north of Bethesda off I-270. Rockville remained an agricultural community through much of the 18th and 19th centuries until the B&O Railroad arrived in 1873. With a direct line from Washington, Rockville’s population increased and new ventures were pursued outside Washington’s boundaries.
